I've been excited about the idea of doing an Aphex Twin piece since I first thought of concentrating my thesis around musical interpretation. If there is one definitive pioneer of the electronic genre, its Richard D. James. I used his torrential style as a jumping off point to experiment and push the approach I've been attempting which consists of using flat graphics with more rendered elements. I'm happy with the result.

this is sweet man, you get somewhere detail and somewhere abstract, I am loving' it. it matches the style of his music. you captured very well.
btw check out my sketches man, tell me what you think, I would love to get some feedback from you too..haha
Seeing this from start to finish was super fun, and taking a second look at it now i like it even more. At first I wasn't sure about the extra hands, but they've grown on me. They're handled so effing well. Definitely does justice to richard D, James
sweet job man, I'm loving the energy in this.
